SABINE MOZHAEV
Born in the Netherlands to an artist mother and an engineer father, I have spent my life being equally enamoured by both form and function.
I am passionate about designing with a pen in my hand, extracting as many ideas as I can in order to design the most suitable solution for each unique set of circumstances.
Every space is merely a backdrop for life’s moments to happen, so I always design with the end user at the forefront of my mind. Not only do I want the user to feel something when they enter the space - I want them to intuitively know how to use it.
I aim to create visually balanced spaces whilst avoiding perfect symmetry, and I often work with existing architectural elements to influence the details of my design.
My design style pays regards to the Japanese philosophy of Wabi-Sabi: the beauty of imperfection and simplicity, and the inevitability of change.
